I'll be at the Missouri River Regional Library in Jefferson City on Tuesday, March 13, to discuss what I learned while researching and writing the novels of my historical DarkHorse Trilogy:
- The Lies That Bind, set in antebellum Mississippi;
- Honor Among Outcasts, set in Civil War Missouri; and
- Something in Madness, set in Mississippi during Reconstruction.
I'll read related excerpts from the novels and spend time on Reconstruction and how its effects still reverberate today. The event will be held in the library's second-floor art gallery starting at 7 pm. It' free and open to the public.
